Good hotel in an excellent location

by Caroline G

I stayed here with a friend for four nights in September and we were both most satisfied with service, staff and the location of the hotel. Our room on the 6th floor was large and clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom absolutely fine. All the staff we spoke to were helpful. Drinks in the bar are very expensive and, as our room was not ready when we arrived, we ordered a pot of tea and were shocked by the price when the bill arrived. We didn’t take breakfast at the hotel, there are much cheaper options in the vicinity. The location was perfect.

Good location, pretty tired hotel though

We stayed here with a group, sadly we got our room on the 4th floor whereas others from our group were on much higher floors which meant they got views. We got no view and just a lot of street noise.

It’s a good location, the staff are friendly on the door and reasonably friendly on reception - a smile goes a long way. Rooms were clean, good gym facilities too.

Be aware you pay for everything here, even parcel delivery ($5 USD per parcel) which I thought was pretty rude. We’ve never had to pay before anywhere for this.

Not sure we would stay here again, would do research to see what other options are available.
