The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wheeling/Highlands offers families 85 guestrooms with queen or king beds, mini-fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Complimentary cribs are available upon request.

The hotel does not have a pool onsite, but it is just steps from the Highlands, one of the largest retail complexes in West Virginia. The Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum is also just a short drive from the hotel.

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning at the hotel before exploring the area with kids. There is no onsite restaurant for lunch or dinner, though kid-friendly restaurants are located nearby. Cracker Barrel and Applebee’s are just a few minutes from the hotel and offer kids’ menus. Additionally, on Thursday evenings, guests can enjoy a complimentary dinner at the hotel.

Other perks at this property include a fitness center, a business center, laundry facilities and free parking. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m.

This hotel was very clean. The breakfast was great. Employees were very friendly. A little pricey but was worth it. We will stay here again. Lots of restaurants were nearby. Easy access on and off 70.

Very nice hotel, other than internet

Everything at hotel was nice. Breakfast was good everyday. Rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Everything always seemed clean. The only negative I have is that the internet / WIFI is terrible.
