Located in the Poconos, Tanglwood Resort offers family-friendly accommodations in a wooded area, with the option to stay in the main resort area, right on Lake Wallenpaupack, or on the resort’s golf course. Accommodations are one- or two-bedroom condos, all of which have cozy living areas, fully equipped kitchens (including cookware, dishes and flatware) and complimentary Wi-Fi. DVD players are available upon request. Cribs and rollaway beds are also available upon request and are free of charge.

Onsite activities at Tanglwood Resort include an outdoor swimming pool, movie theater and library, plus a wide selection of games — Ping-Pong, foosball, tennis, volleyball, billiards, air hockey and more. Organized games are part of the fun, too, and include potato sack racing! A fitness center and indoor pool are available in a separate facility owned by the resort, about 20 minutes away.

Note: Accommodations and rates are based on weekly stays and single-night stays are not available.

Adequate, but not exceptional

The staff were nice and tried to be very accommodating, but the property and maintenance weren't in that great of shape. The facilities were adequate, but not exceptional. The area around the resort was lovely and the towns had some interesting things to explore.

RCI visit

Visited to use up an RCI week. On arrival the staff friendly. Gave us all the info on the resort. It is on Lake Wallenpauck. Units vary from 1 -3 bedrooms and spread on a variety of terrain. The 1 bedroom unit that we stayed in for a week was good.. great sunsets from the deck overlooking the lake. It needs some renovation however we were given a choice of an updated unit vs a scenic view.. took the view.. they are working on some of the units. It has a recreation centre and an outdoor pool. It is centred in the Lake District with lots to do.
