The hotel was recently renovated - nice open concept. It is clean, light, the mattress was super comfortable. The pool with saltwater had perfect temperature not too cold not too warm. The hotel has a bar and restaurant in the lobby. Dinner and breakfast were delicious!

My friend and I booked a double bed in this hotel on 8/23-8/24. Prior to arrival, we told the hotel that late check-in is required. We arrived a little pass midnight on 8/24, and waited a bit to check-in. We were given a room on the fourth floor. After finding our room, the keycards did not work. Perhaps a fluke, we tried a few more times before heading back down to replace keycards. After given an explanation--that room 421 used to be 420, and two new sets of keycards for the supposed room numbers on the same room--once again, we were off to the fourth floor. My friend tried both sets of keycards and, guess what, none worked.

By then, I was tired and ready to sleep after a long drive from NYC to Allentown. We went downstairs again to seek for help. The lovely front desk was able to change the room for us with a downside of one king bed. I was too tired to argue and told my friend to just take the room.

The next morning, my friend asked for the manager and told Elizabeth our concerns and dismay. I told her we should be comp'ed for our troubles, and she said there is nothing she can do to help. She did give an explanation on why the room on fourth floor failed to open--it was battery issue. I was flabbergasted! Surely, housekeeping was able to get into the room at ease.

On a side note, the second room we had a dirty shower drain with hair clogging drain opening.

I am very DISPLEASED and LOATHED every moment we spent in this hotel.
