The Iowa State Fair lasts 10 days every year in August, bringing some of the biggest musical acts in the country, along with rides, games, exhibits and more. Kids learn about agriculture, livestock and food, and can participate in competitions. Traditional fair rides and games can be found at the Midway and a special Kids Zone is made just for younger kids.
