The DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton offers modern accommodations in Binghamton, New York, about an hour’s drive from Syracuse and a little under two hours from the Finger Lakes. Perks at this hotel include an onsite restaurant (with room service available), complimentary Wi-Fi, an indoor swimming pool and warm, chocolate chip cookies served at check-in. While there isn’t a fitness center onsite, guests are given passes to Riverwalk Athletic Club.

Each room has one king or two queen beds, and you can request a cot or crib (fees may apply). Coffeemakers are supplied as well. Looking for some privacy? Opt for a suite with a private bedroom and sofa bed. Check-in time is 4 p.m.; check-out is 11 a.m. Self-parking is free.

We wanted a place with a pool so this one looked good. Not only was the hotel very nice with their fresh cookies but their restaurant and bar was really pretty good. When we went to the pool we found a whole complementary gym with spin classes and all the equipment anyone would want. The pool was not only clean and warm but they had fun classes that you can join. Use your GPS to get there from 17.

Great stay

Staff was fantastic. Over whelming eager to help with anything. Bar staff was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Any issues I can across, that were very minor, were treated with the utmost urgency even though not call for.
