Combine a tour of one of Wales’ 640 castles with lunch at the indoor café. You’ll enter over a drawbridge and wander around through a magnificent courtyard. The café has no windows, but the walls are stone and the food is good and wholesome. There are rich soups, breads and several meat dishes to choose from. Cake and ice cream fill the spot for dessert. You can also grab some goodies for a picnic on the surrounding grounds. It’s a lovely afternoon outing.
