This Pittsburgh location is the first in Pennsylvania and modeled after the 400-plus year old original. Every second Tuesday of the month is Family Night, but live entertainment, including crowd participation, happens daily. Outside dining provides a beautiful view of the river and a buffer from the lively atmosphere in Bier Hall. The traditional Bavarian fare served here in large portions. You have to try the Works Sampler and get a taste of traditional Bavarian favorites such as fried pickles, homemade bier cheese, pretzels, potato pancakes and sauerkraut balls. The kids menu serves standard American fare.
